I just got a Wacom tablet and I can't put in words how much fun I'm having with it. I'm going to post my progression here as I learn to use it. I liked painting while I was doing it but there were so many things that I hated. The messiness of it, the room needed to be able to do it (which I don't have in a two bedroom condo & a roommate), the brush cleaning, the finality of every stroke. Doing it digitially is much more free to me. I can undo, erase, take out parts I don't like. None of that can be done when you're painting on canvas. Anyway, this is the first drawing that I've done. It's of my grandfather spitting out the tobacco from the end of a cigarette. I love it.
