My whole career traces back to one relationship. I met a friend in college in 1994 who introduced me to the owners of The Wow Factory, where I interned until they brought me on full-time. Every move since has come the same way—never through a job board or a cold call. A manager pulled me along to Westminster Ceramics; when it closed, Westminster's president connected me to MSI; and the marketing partner I'd hired to build MSI's digital asset management system later hired me. The people I work with keep me around, and I think that says as much about how I work as what I do.

Over 25+ years I've grown from graphic design and photography into leading global creative teams, 3D visualization, digital asset management, and Adobe ecosystem expertise. Highlights include building a high-volume photography studio that helped fuel MSI's growth from $300M to over $1B in annual revenue, deploying enterprise-wide Digital Asset Management, and specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Workfront at Northern Commerce.

Adobe Experience Manager Assets / Adobe Workfront Specialist

Role Overview: AEM Assets Specialist with recent certification in Adobe Workfront; Northern capabilities include marketing, digital experience management, e-commerce, and data and analytics.

Narrative: My current role at Northern Commerce represents the culmination of my shift toward digital experience platforms. Joining Freedom Marketing in 2019, I became an AEM Specialist, focusing on content management systems for clients. The 2025 acquisition expanded our scope to full e-commerce solutions, Drupal dev, and marketing automation. Recently, I earned my Adobe Workfront Specialist certification, integrating project management and workflow tools into my expertise. Here, I've built scalable digital ecosystems, blending my design background with tech to enhance online business strategies. It's a dynamic environment where I continue to grow, applying 25+ years of experience to modern challenges.

Company started as Freedom Marketing (AEM-focused); acquired by Northern Commerce (London, Ontario, Canada) in March 2025.

March 2011 – December 2019
Graphic Designer to Department Head

Role Overview: Began in graphic design and photography; advanced to lead a global team.

Narrative: After freelancing for MSI, I joined full-time and hit the ground running by constructing a cutting-edge photography studio at the Austell site. This facility managed high-throughput shoots, including crane-handled granite slabs, fueling MSI's rapid expansion from $300M to over $1B in annual revenue. As head of the graphic design department, I oversaw a team of 3 onsite, 2 in California (HQ), and 8 in India. We handled all graphic design, photography, and digital manipulations—inserting our products into stock scenes for seamless marketing visuals. I expanded into 3D design, creating tradeshow booths and displays from concept to production. A major milestone was negotiating an Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM) system in 2015. Over 1.5 years (2015–2017), I selected consultants, customized the platform, and deployed it across 30+ branches, serving 500+ employees and partners like Home Depot. By 2019, ready for new horizons after 20 years in design, this role prepared me for my pivot to AEM.

Freelance
April 2008 – March 2011
Freelance Graphic Designer & Photographer

Role Overview: Independent contractor handling graphic design and photography for flooring/tile companies.

Narrative: Following Westminster's closure, I thrived as a freelancer, serving Atlanta-based clients in the tile and flooring industry. Projects ranged from custom graphics to professional product photography, allowing me to experiment with styles and build a diverse portfolio. This flexible period honed my self-management skills and led directly to my full-time hire at MSI, where I could scale my impact.

Clients: MSI, Medici Mosaics, Hartmann Studios

September 2002 – April 2008
Graphic Designer

Role Overview: Focused on graphic design, illustration, planograming, package and product design until the company closed.

Narrative: Recruited from The Wow Factory, I spent these years at Westminster Ceramics, specializing in visuals for ceramics and home products. I designed catalogs, packaging, products, and marketing collateral, often weaving in photography to capture material essence. Though the company folded in 2008, this role deepened my industry knowledge and resilience, sparking my freelance chapter.

June 1998 – September 2002
Intern & Graphic Designer

Role Overview: Started as an intern while in school, transitioning to full-time graphic designer upon hiring in 2000.

Narrative: My professional debut was at The Wow Factory, interning during college before going full-time post-graduation. I tackled varied design projects, from print to early digital, in a vibrant agency setting. This foundational experience not only built my skills but also forged key connections—like my boss who later brought me to Westminster Ceramics.
